SPRING CONCERT 2018 – “CLASSICS TO MODERN”
Glendora High School Event Center on 4/28/18 – 6:30-9:00pm

Once again, the year is moving swiftly to an end and the time for Spring Concert has come.  This year we present new literature which parents and friends have not yet heard.  After our very busy show choir season, Silhouettes and Royal Stewarts prepared for the APU Choral Festival  and Stewarts are preparing for the High School Choral Festival at Disney Hall.  We will hear some of these pieces and conclude with a rousing finale with our combined choirs.

In addition, students in various groupings will sing or dance to show their own skills and initiative in preparing and presenting music of their own choice.  You won’t want to miss hearing these talented students!  You will also have coffee and a choice of tempting desserts served at intermission so you can socialize and meet new friends.

Tickets can be purchased online for $12 per seat and they will sell fast!  Online ticket sales will end at 2pm on April 28th.  If there are seats remaining, tickets will be sold at the event until 6:30pm.

Online ticket sales have been turned off.  Tickets will be sold at the event until 6:30pm.

After purchasing tickets online, please print the e-ticket email with the subject line “Your tickets from GHS Show Choirs”, and bring it to the event.

Rotary Choral Festival “America Sings”, 3/9/18 7pm @ Citrus College

The Rotary Choral Festival, “America Sings” will be held on 3/9/18 from 7pm to 8:30pm at the Citrus College Haugh Performing Arts Center.  Performances of the festival include choirs from GHS and the Glendora middle and elementary schools.

For over 40 years, this project has raised funds to support the Glendora Unified School District’s Choral Music programs.  To date, the Glendora Rotary Club has raised over $100,000 for their programs.  All proceeds, after costs of the Citrus College facilities, will be divided equally between the elementary, middle and high school programs.

These choral programs not only enrich the lives of our students with art and creativity found within music, but also enhance coordination, concentration, and memory — skills vital to academic learning.  So please come join with the Glendora community to help support our choral music programs.

Tickets can be purchased using this order form: Rotary Choral Festival America Sings 2018.  Be sure to return this form with payment by Wednesday, March 7 to Dr. Trevor.
