The Rotary Choral Festival, “America Sings” will be held on 3/9/18 from 7pm to 8:30pm at the Citrus College Haugh Performing Arts Center. Performances of the festival include choirs from GHS and the Glendora middle and elementary schools.
For over 40 years, this project has raised funds to support the Glendora Unified School District’s Choral Music programs. To date, the Glendora Rotary Club has raised over $100,000 for their programs. All proceeds, after costs of the Citrus College facilities, will be divided equally between the elementary, middle and high school programs.
These choral programs not only enrich the lives of our students with art and creativity found within music, but also enhance coordination, concentration, and memory — skills vital to academic learning. So please come join with the Glendora community to help support our choral music programs.

The Brea Olinda Show Choir Competition will be held on 2/3/2018. The order for our block of tickets was received and distributed to students on 1/31/18. More event information is available at, www.ghschoirs.com/wp/competition-events.
The Tier 1 and Tier 2 Competition Session 4 pre-sale tickets are available now. Session 4 includes the Royal Stewarts choir only. To purchase tickets please print the Burbank Session 4 Competition Ticket Order Form and follow the instructions on the form.
The Burbank Competition tickets for other sessions will be sold online directly through the Burbank High School. At this time for these other sessions, pre-sale tickets are not available and we will not be ordering a block of tickets for our fans.

The choirs are finishing their last weeks of preparation for the competition season and that means the annual Competition Preview night is coming up on 1/27/18 at the GHS Event Center. We will have three shows on that day, giving families a chance to see the competition performance sets at 3:00pm, 5:00pm and 7:00pm. All three choirs will be performing at each showing. This is a great opportunity to see these entertaining performances, because the actual upcoming competition events are spread out across Southern California and the show times are unpredictable and usually in the late hours of the night.
Shortly before each performance, the doors will open. This event will have open seating.
Students with GHS, Goddard, or Sandburg ASB cards will be admitted for free. Otherwise, tickets can be purchased online for $5 each until 1/27/18 at 11:00am. In the Ticket form below, change the ‘0’ to the number of tickets desired for each show time. Remaining tickets will be sold at the door before each performance.
After purchasing tickets online, please print out the email with the subject “Your tickets from GHS Show Choirs” and bring it to the event, or be able to show this email on a smartphone at the event.
