The choirs are finishing their last weeks of preparation for the competition season and that means the annual Competition Preview night is coming up on 1/26/19 at the GHS Event Center. We will have three shows on that day, giving families a chance to see the competition performance sets at 3:00pm, 5:00pm and 7:00pm. All three choirs will be performing at each showing. This is a great opportunity to see these entertaining performances, because the actual competition events are spread out across Southern California and the show times are unpredictable and sometimes in the late hours of the night.
Shortly before each performance, the doors will open. This event will have open seating.
Students with GHS, Goddard, or Sandburg ASB cards, and Glendora Teachers will be admitted for free. Otherwise, tickets can be purchased online for $5 each until 1/26/19 at 11:00am. In the Ticket form below, change the ‘0’ to the number of tickets desired for each show time. Remaining tickets will be sold at the door before each performance.
After purchasing tickets online, please print out the email with the subject “Your tickets from GHS Show Choirs” and bring it to the event, or be able to show this email on a smartphone at the event.

All choir members accepted for the 2018-19 season are asked to attend Registration Night at 7:00 p.m. in the Event Center. It is important for a parent to accompany the student! We will present our plans for the next choir year with information about rehearsal times, performance dates and the like.
We will make use of the Chromebooks in the Event Center which are there for testing. In this way, it will be possible for parents to register their student for their choir in the coming year. We do ask for a Cooperative Share Donation to help us pay for the various things that it takes to do show choir and other concert events throughout the year. At Registration Night, we offer a discount which is open for a very short time.
Our choirs are well recognized throughout our area of California and we want to perpetuate the excellence that our choirs have achieved again this season. We try to keep these meetings to one hour with time for questions and registration at the end.
