SPRING CONCERT 2019 – “Welcome to Spring”
Glendora High School Event Center on 5/18/19 – 6:30-9:00pm
It’s difficult to believe that we are nearly at the end of another school year. We will present some new literature that you probably have not heard before. However, by popular demand, we will present the complete show choir sets from Silhouettes/Illumination and Royal Stewarts. Even if you saw them at the Previews or at a competition, this is one last chance to hear and see our talented students in action.
Of course, we will also have some individual and small group numbers to acquaint you with more of our students in a smaller setting than the full choir. We have a record number of students graduating so this is your chance to support them before they adventure into their adult lives. You will also have coffee and a choice of tempting desserts served at intermission so you can socialize and meet new friends.
Tickets can be purchased online for $12 per seat and they will sell fast! Online ticket sales will end at 2pm on May 18th. If there are seats remaining, tickets will be sold at the event until 6:00pm.
To be admitted into the event, please print the e-ticket email with the subject line, “Your tickets from GHS Show Choirs,” and bring it to the Event Center.
Seating is open and will be based on the order of arrival to the event.
If you would like to purchase a DVD or Blu-ray of the performances, please fill out this form (click here) and bring it to the event with payment or follow the instructions on the form to mail it in.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

The Rotary Choral Festival, “America Sings” will be held on 3/8/19 from 7pm to 8:30pm at the Citrus College Haugh Performing Arts Center. Performances of the festival include choirs from GHS and the Glendora middle and elementary schools.
For over 40 years, this project has raised funds to support the Glendora Unified School District’s Choral Music programs. To date, the Glendora Rotary Club has raised over $100,000 for their programs. All proceeds, after costs of the Citrus College facilities, will be divided equally between the elementary, middle and high school programs.
These choral programs not only enrich the lives of our students with art and creativity found within music, but also enhance coordination, concentration, and memory — skills vital to academic learning. So please come join with the Glendora community to help support our choral music programs.
Tickets can be purchased using this order form: Rotary Choral Festival America Sings 2019. Be sure to return this form with payment by Wednesday, March 6 to Dr. Trevor.
The choirs are finishing their last weeks of preparation for the competition season and that means the annual Competition Preview night is coming up on 1/26/19 at the GHS Event Center. We will have three shows on that day, giving families a chance to see the competition performance sets at 3:00pm, 5:00pm and 7:00pm. All three choirs will be performing at each showing. This is a great opportunity to see these entertaining performances, because the actual competition events are spread out across Southern California and the show times are unpredictable and sometimes in the late hours of the night.
Shortly before each performance, the doors will open. This event will have open seating.
Students with GHS, Goddard, or Sandburg ASB cards, and Glendora Teachers will be admitted for free. Otherwise, tickets can be purchased online for $5 each until 1/26/19 at 11:00am. In the Ticket form below, change the ‘0’ to the number of tickets desired for each show time. Remaining tickets will be sold at the door before each performance.
After purchasing tickets online, please print out the email with the subject “Your tickets from GHS Show Choirs” and bring it to the event, or be able to show this email on a smartphone at the event.
Join us once again for our annual Sounds of Noel Concert on 12/11/18 at 7 pm within the Haugh Performing Arts Center at Citrus College. The combined choirs from Glendora High School as well as Goddard and Sandburg Middle Schools will put you in the mood for the holidays with a wonderful collection of music. The choirs from our middle schools will sing two pieces on their own. Then the featured piece with all choirs is Vivaldi’s “Gloria” accompanied by a professional orchestra. As usual, we will conclude the concert with “Peace, Peace/Silent Night” when the student choirs surround the audience with candlelight. Don’t miss it!
Online ticket sales will continue until 2:00pm on 12/11/18. If not sold out, ticket sales at the event will start at 6:00pm on 12/11/18.
After purchasing tickets online, please print the email with the subject, “Your tickets from GHS Show Choirs“. Each attendee must hold their own ticket to be admitted into the performance center. This concert event has open seating and attendees will be seated in the order of arrival.
